What you can expect from KASITDA, what we ask of you in return, and what to do when something goes wrong.

What you can expect from us
Clear information about every programme, including who may apply and what it costs.
A reply to any enquiry, complaint or feedback within 72 hours.
Selection on published criteria, applied consistently.
Your personal information handled as described in our privacy policy.
An answer by phone, email or in person if you cannot use this website.
What we ask of you

Benefits and entitlements
KASITDA's citizen-facing training programmes are funded by the Kano State Government and are free to participants. Where a particular programme carries a cost — for example a
professional certification examination paid to an external body — that cost is stated in the call for
applications before you apply, never afterwards.
Depending on the programme, participants may also receive learning materials, a certificate of completion,
transport support for in-person sessions, and introductions to employers or hubs. What is included is listed
in each call for applications.
We never ask you to pay for a place
No KASITDA officer, partner or agent is authorised to request payment in exchange for selection onto a
programme. If anyone asks you to pay, do not pay. Report it immediately on (234) 903 322 2444 or through the feedback form.
Forms
Applications open on a rolling basis and each programme uses its own form, published with its call for
applications. To be told when the next one opens, register your interest on the get involved page.
If you cannot complete a form online, we will post or email you a printed copy, or complete it with you over
the phone. Call (234) 903 322 2444 or email info@kasitda.kn.gov.ng and ask.
How to make a complaint
If a KASITDA service has fallen short, tell us. Complaints are how we find the problems our own reporting
misses, and making one will never affect your standing in any programme.
Tell us what happened. Use the feedback form and choose A complaint about a service, or call (234) 903 322 2444, or write to Kano State Government House, Kano, Nigeria. Include dates,
names if you have them, and what outcome you are looking for.
We acknowledge it within 72 hours. The acknowledgement carries a
reference number — keep it, and quote it if you contact us again about the same matter.
An officer investigates. Most complaints are resolved within 10 working days. If it will
take longer, we tell you why and when to expect an answer.
We give you a written outcome explaining what we found and what we are doing about it.
If you are not satisfied, ask for the matter to be escalated to the Director General's
office, quoting your reference number.
